185. Theme 128 ~Greek~

This building is a combination of Greek Revival and Beaux Arts architecture.  It has fluted Doric Columns, bronze medallions, Greek key detail, floral plaques and a bronze entrance frame and window grates.  I think it’s gorgeous……a little grungy, but IMHO,  gorgeous!  By the way,  HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!

  1. It is gorgeous and I love your straight-up angle.

  2. Madelaine, you always do a fabulous job with the details of architecture…shooting and processing. This shot is amazing. I’d love to turn you loose in Rome or Venice or Paris….

  3. What classic greek designs – how beautiful – you did an awesome job in processing this! Happy 4th to yo too!

  4. Grungy not withstanding this is gorgeous. Your composition and detail are perfect.

  5. Beautiful example of the architecture and a great shot. Love the perspective!

  6. Gosh, the detail you captured in that shot is amazing, right down to the trailing ivy. (Must be enlarged to get the full effect, by the way…) It is a very cool building.
