19. Theme 59 ~Colored Glass~

This window originally came in a wood casing.  One of our neighbors makes stained glass windows so he removed it from there and made a solder frame for it. (I think that’s what it’s called).  It’s now hanging in front of one of the windows. It comes from the Brimfield Antique Show in Brimfield, MA, but I think it’s more like a flea market & less like an antique show, and you can find pretty much anything you could ever think of at Brimfield.   There are 3 shows a year and  they’re the largest antique shows in the country.  It’s really amazing, over 5,000 dealers on acres and acres of land.  Here is a link if you’d like to check it out.

  1. Love these colors and then the blue in the background.

  2. A gorgeous capture of stained glass and the way it captures and reflects the light. I live near Brimfield and go to the Brimfield Fair every year – it’s fascinating! Miles and miles of treasures and unusual junk, all mixed in. It’s a photographer’s dream.
